Inter Milan travel to the Stadio San Paolo to take on defending Coppa Italia champs, Napoli in a quarterfinal clash on Wednesday, February 4. Roberto Mancini’s side go into this game on the back of two disappointing defeats against Sassuolo and Torino, but a good run in the Coppa Italia could put them into gear for the season. Inter have signed Xherdan Shaqiri, Lukas Podolski and Davide Santon in an attempt to secure European football for next season. Former Liverpool boss, Rafa Benitez's men are seeking to defend their Coppa Italia title, but have had it the hard way in their previous fixture in the tournament. Real can further extend their lead at the top of the Primera Division to four points ahead of the mouth-watering Madrid derby against Atletico at the Vicente Calderon Stadium on Saturday, February 7. Inspirational attacking midfielder, Cristiano Ronaldo will complete his suspension after being shown a red card in the 2-1 win against Cordoba two weeks back, but Pepe and Fabio Coentrao will sit out the clash due to injury. BOLTON WANDERERS V LIVERPOOL
League position: Bolton 14th and Liverpool 7th
Useful facts: Bolton are battling away in the middle of the table of the English Championship and will be hoping a good cup run might give their fans something to shout about. They welcome a resurgent Liverpool to the Reebok Stadium in this FA Cup fourth round replay. The Reds will expect to take the win, however it will likely be a tough affair in Greater Manchester.
Thabo Mngomeni: Liverpool win. They are on fire of late.
NAPOLI V INTER MILAN
League position: Napoli 3rd and Inter 13th
Useful facts: Napoli are hanging in there with Serie A front runners, Roma and Juventus. They have a talented forward line with Jose Callejon and Gonzalo Higuain banging in the goals. Meanwhile, Inter are having a shocking season for a club with such normally high standards. This means the Little Donkeys will be favourites at home.
Thabo Mngomeni: Ey, tight! Draw.
REAL MADRID V SEVILLA
League position: Real 1st and Sevilla 5th
Useful facts: Real continue to plunder goals like a Tsunami consuming an unprotected coastline. Even with the great Cristiano Ronaldo out suspended, the likes of Karim Benzema, James Rodriguez and Gareth Bale are sweeping all before them. However, Sevilla are a solid team and will aim to keep the door firmly shut against the Galacticos.
Thabo Mngomeni: Definitely a win for Real.
AJAX AMSTERDAM V AZ ALKMAAR
League position: Ajax 2nd and AZ 6th
Useful facts: Ajax appear to have lost sight of league leading PSV at the top of the Dutch Eredivisie, and can’t afford any further slipups if they’re to stand any chance of catching them. This means they have to get all three points against AZ at home. The Cheese Farmers are a solid little side and will be a tough nut to crack.
Thabo Mngomeni: Ajax will get the win.
