Former Bafana Bafana midfielder Helman Mkhalele told the Siya crew that proper defending and ability to score goals will be key for the national team in the game against Brazil.
Bafana face the five-time world champions at FNB Stadium in the much anticipated international friendly on March 05.
The stadium is expected to be filled to capacity on Wednesday as ticket sales for the game have been going well.
“I think our guys will do well because the competition is always high every time we play against Brazil. One of the things I know about them is that they play the same kind of football that we play.
"The physical built of our guys and theirs is almost the same just like Spain, as you saw when we played against them. It’s almost same. The only thing that we need to work on the most is our organisation especially in defence.
"We need to be quick when initiating our attacks whenever we win the ball. We need to attack with pace because we tend to look disorganised in a number of occasions and teams can take advantage of that. We need to find the balance and must use energy.
"Concentration is always the key. We need to try as much as possible to use each and every scoring opportunity to score goals. These (Brazil) are the teams that score whenever they get opportunities to do so,” said Mkhalele.
The Midnight Express, as Mkhalele is known in football circles, served Bafana with distinction during his heyday as a professional footballer.
He played for Orlando Pirates, Jomo Cosmos and a number of clubs in Turkey in his successful career.
