Libya and Ghana go into the halftime break level at 0-0 with neither side creating any clear cut opportunities in the African Nations Championships Final.

 Seidu Bancey came close in the first minute with a  header from close range which was comfortably dealt with by Muhammed Nashnoush.

El Houni tried his luck from range in the third but the midfielder's effort went wide of post.

Sulley Mohammed had a go from distance in the 16th minute but his shot failed to trouble Nashnoush.

In the 30th minute, Godfred Saka's shot from the edge of the area deflected out for a corner, after some good build up play by the Black Stars.

El Mutasem Abushnaf fired high and wide from the edge of the area in the 39th minute, after the midfielder did well to create some space for himself.
