Bradley Grobler was the big winner at SuperSport United’s recently held player’s awards for the 2020/21 season.
The 33-year-old was in mesmerizing form for the Tshwane outfit last season, scoring 17 goals in 29 matches in all competitions, which saw him walk away with the Lesley Manyathela Golden Boot with 16 league goals.
The awards did not end there for the Matsatsantsa talisman, with the club holding an awards ceremony for players, and the striker was duly rewarded for his outstanding season.
Grobler walked away with four major awards including the Player of the Season, Player’s Player of the Season, the Golden Boot as well as the Chairman’s award.
“It’s an amazing feeling, it’s a great club, a club with a lot of history and I’m really glad that I am a part of that history now. The club has been good to me for many, many years and this is just another way of repaying the faith that they have shown in me,” Grobler told the club’s media department.
The other winners on the day included young fullback Keenan Phillips who has adjusted to life in the DStv Premiership like a duck to water. The 22-year-old walked away with the Young player of the season award.
