Kaizer Chiefs have revealed that they have reviewed the video of Morgan Gould's punch on Bidvest Wits striker Getaneh Kebede and stated that "internal processes" will take place.
Furthermore, Amakhosi confirmed that an apology had been sent to the Clever Boys, as well as Kebede. Gould also apologised to the club agreed to go through internal processes.
Wits released a statement earlier stating that they had written to both the PSL and SAFA, demanding that action be taking against the Chiefs centre-back as well as match official Lwandile Mfiki.
Announcing the news via their official Twitter account, Chiefs stated, "After reviewing the tape we have acknowledged and sent an apology to Kebede and Bidvest Wits.
"Morgan Gould has apologised to the Club and has agreed to cooperate with the internal processes."
