Golden Arrows were crowned Uthukela Cup champions after seeing off Free State Stars and Uthukela Municipality on their way their to clinching the cup.
Arrows booked their spot in the final, after defeating Stars 1-0 in the semi-final on Sunday morning. New signing Wayde Jooste scored the only goal of the game for Arrows, while Stars had Nkanyiso Cele sent off.
Moving to the final, Clinton Larsen's charges took the lead midway through the first half, as Sibusiso Sibeko headed home Quincy Ngcobo's cross.
Arrows doubled their lead just before the halftime break when Themba Sikhakhane latched onto a long pass from Veluyeke Zulu, before slotting home from close range, 2-0.
Larsen also handed new signing Lee Langeveldt an appearance, as the shot-stopper replaced Sean Goss midway through the second half.
Arrows rounded off the win in the closing stages through Menzi Magubane, who turned home Mncedisi Ndwandwe's cross, 3-0, as Abafana Besthende were crowned Uthukela Cup winners.
