Kaizer Chiefs head coach Giovanni Solinas praised his substitutes after they had lost Leonardo Castro to injury in the first half.
Chiefs claimed their first win of the Absa Premiership season after thumping Cape Town City 4-1 at the Cape Town Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
Solinas was pleased with the contributions of Bernard Parker and Philani Zulu, who both made an impact off the bench.
“I’m very happy, my boys deserve to win the game. I want to thank my guys because they played a brilliant game. Everyone played very well today,” Solinas told SuperSport after the match.
“It’s a pity that we lost [Leonardo] Castro early but I have good players in the bench. The players who came in played very well. Bernard Parker, [Philani] Zulu, the performance is very good today from everyone.
