Former Kaizer Chiefs and Mpumalanga Black Aces defender Gordon Gilbert has confirmed to the Siya crew that he is still training on his own while hoping to make another move to further his career.
As reported by the Siya crew earlier, Gilbert is on the lookout for a PSL club as he attempts to get his career back on track.
The 30-year-old defender spent last season at Thanda Royal Zulu after returning from Turkey but he says he is not keen on playing in the NFD again.
“I'm training with my fitness coach and keep pushing myself every day as I hope it's only a matter of time before I get something.” Gilbert told the Siya crew.
Gilbert started his professional career at St Johnstone in the Scottish Premier League in 2002, before moving to SA to play for University of Pretoria, Mpumalanga Black Aces, Kaizer Chiefs, Moroka Swallows and Thanda Royal Zulu.
