Siboniso Gaxa’s injury is not a serious one and the defender should be available for Kaizer Chiefs’ Absa Premiership clash with Platinum Stars.
The right-back was forced off the field in the recent 0-0 draw with Bloemfontein Celtic, after sustaining a foot injury in the second half, and was subsequently replaced by Josta Dladla.
However, it seems that Gaxa’s injury is not one that will keep him out for any length of time, and he is expected to be back in the squad this weekend, even if he doesn’t make the starting eleven.
The 29-year-old has been a regular in Stuart Baxter’s line-up since the Englishman took over at Naturena last year, and the head coach will no doubt be happy to see that his niggle is nothing to worry about.

Meanwhile, Ugandan defender Ivan Bukenya is still training with the club.
