National First Division side, Garankuwa United have enlisted the services of a Zambian national, Patrick Milaso in a bid to retain their NFD status.
Garankuwa have been struggling in the NFD league for the better part of the season and currently find themselves at the basement of the NFD log with 13 points after 22 league games played.
Milaso joins United with some previous first-hand experience of the ruthlessness of South African football.
The Zambian has mentored the likes of the now defunct Nathi Lions where he was sacked just only after losing just two games in a row. Garankuwa confirmed the appointment of the Zambian mentor however the club revealed that it was still waiting for his work permit.
"We are struggling with his work permit, hopefully it will be sorted out soon, " said the club’s General Manager, George Mogomotsi.
Garankuwa will rely on the Zambian for a change in fortunes in the remaining eight league games.
Be sure to read more on Milaso and to see which other South African club he has mentored in the current issue of Soccer Laduma.
