Struggling PSL side, Free State Stars, seem to have entered the race to loan Mamelodi Sundowns striker, Richard Henyekane.
The 30-year-old has struggled at Sundowns since joining them from Golden Arrows back in 2010, and the Siya crew have previously reported that his name has been mentioned by management at Polokwane City as they look to strengthen their squad in January.
However, it seems that City may have some competition for the striker’s signature, with Ea Lla Koto also believed to be eager to try and land the forward on loan when the transfer window opens in a few days time.
Stars have had a difficult time in the PSL so far this season, with a string of bad performances resulting in the firing of Steve Komphela.
Now, with Themba Sithole taking the reigns on a temporary basis, he is looking to bolster his side to help them climb out of the relegation zone when the PSL resumes at the end of January.
