Platinum Stars’ two assistant coaches, Allan Freese and Willem Jackson, will be taking the club’s pre-season training when they start tomorrow.
Dikwena returned from their off-season break on Monday, with all of their players reporting for duty in order to undergo their medical examinations before the start of next season’s campaign.
With the first three days of this week being dedicated to the team having their medicals, tomorrow will be the first day that the team will begin proper training out on the field.
Stars’ PRO, Aubrey Molobi, confirmed to the Siya crew that Freese and Jackson will be looking after the club’s first team until they find a new head coach.
Currently the likes of Ian Palmer, Neil Tovey and Ian Gorowa have all been touted as the club’s replacement for Cavin Johnson, although Freese is also said to be in with a shot of landing the job on a permanent basis.
