News reaching the Siya crew is that Free State Stars have started their negotiations with Angelo Kerspuy with a view to offer him a new deal.
The midfielder is in the last year of his contract with the Bethlehem outfit.
According to a source close to the Ea Lla Koto camp, the club’s management are willing to tie the player on a new contract, following his improved impressive performances in the second round of the season.
“Free State Stars want to offer Angelo Kerspuy a new deal. The deal should be happening soon. The parties have already started talking and are just having to finalise and sign a new deal,” said source.
Kerspuy, 28, had a difficult first half of the 2014/15 campaign, with just two league starts for him last year. The player has started in all the games played by Kinnah Phiri’s side so far in 2015.
