Free State Stars confirmed that the technical team identified the players that will be given a chance when the side returns for pre-season.
It was revealed by the Siya crew that Ea Lla Koto had trials in Bethlehem recently. A number of players attended some of which impressed the technical team.
“Free State Stars’ preparations for next season are underway with the club’s talent scouting in full swing.The previous week Stars invited about 80 hopefuls that also included some PSL players to a three-day trial at Goble Park Stadium.
"Assistant coach Themba Sithole declared himself satisfied with the exercise from which Stars were able to pick five players who will join the club for pre-season training,” the club’s official website revealed.
Sithole revealed that he is happy with the players that turned up for trial.
“I am personally happy with what I saw. We were targeting players for certain position but again everybody that attended gave their all. The unfortunate part is that we cannot sign everybody.
“We have kept an eye on five players who will travel with the rest of the team to the pre-season camp starting next month,” Sithole told freestatestars.co.za.
