Free State Stars coach, Nikola Kavazovic, has revealed what would make him go to the airport and go home, as the fight against relegation continues for the Bethlehem outfit.
Ea Lla Koto lost 1-0 against SuperSport United on the weekend as Kavazovic’s team is now 14th on the Absa Premiership log with only five wins from 23 matches.

Since taking charge of the Free State team halfway through the 2018/19 PSL season, Kavazovic has guided the side to two wins, two draws and three losses from seven league matches. Speaking after their loss to Matsatsantsa, the Serbian mentor promised that the team will keep fighting until the end.
“We stuck to our game plan and we were able to contain them until the 89th min and 15 seconds before they could score. The team was rock solid at the back and we created a number of scoring chances. We dealt with the crosses and set pieces very well,” Kavazovic told Stars’ official website.

“I am not thinking about relegation in my head, and if I say I can’t help this team to survive relegation, I might as well go straight to the airport and go home. The plans for the pre-season and next season are already in place, which players will be leaving and those that will be joining the team. This team doesn’t belong in the NFD, with due respect to the NFD league. We will keep fighting until the end,” added the coach.
In their next match, Stars are scheduled to host AmaZulu at the Goble Park Stadium on Saturday.
