Former Mamelodi Sundowns striker, Diyo Sibisi, is attempting to revive his career in the National First Division.

Having last played in the PSL in 2013 before moving to Vietnamese club Fico Tay Ninh FC the following year, Sibisi has been playing in the ABC Motsepe League since his return from overseas.
The Sahlumbe-born player has been playing for Ladysmith United in KwaZulu-Natal’s third tier until recently. Now at 35, Sibisi has been given a chance to revive his career in the NFD, after signing a contract with Uthongathi FC.

He turned out for the KZN outfit in their 0-0 draw against Cape Town All Stars last Friday. Apart from Sundowns, Sibisi played for the likes of Free State Stars, Ajax Cape Town, Maritzburg United, University of Pretoria and Mpumalanga Black Aces during in his professional career in Mzansi.
