A former Orlando Pirates youngster has been unlucky not to have secured a PSL move this season after he initially appeared to have joined Baroka FC.
In May this year, it was confirmed to the Siya crew from Tshepo Liphoko's camp that the player has signed a three-year contract with Baroka.
However, the 23-year-old who came through the youth ranks at Bucs and has turned out for clubs such as Golden Arrows and AmaZulu, has been seen playing for Uthongathi FC in the National First Division.
A source close to Baroka has confirmed to the Siya crew that Liphoko has had the contract he signed with the Limpopo outfit terminated.
“Tshepo Liphoko's contract with Baroka FC has been terminated. It doesn't make sense that some of the players are being signed only to be released by these clubs,” said the source.
Former Kaizer Chiefs striker David Zulu and Ivorian striker Armand Gnanduillet are some of the players signed at Baroka during the off-season but had their contracts cancelled without having kicked a ball in an official match for the side this season.
