Following recent reports about his arrest, former Orlando Pirates midfielder Bernard Morrison has signed with a new club.
Having finished the season with Tanzanian club Young Africans, Morrison has now signed with rivals Simba SC.
The Tanzanian Premier League and FA Cup champions have confirmed the signing of the skilful Ghanaian.
Morrison, 27, found himself in trouble in Dar el Salaam recently after he was arrested for reportedly obstructing police from searching his vehicle.
The talented-but-controversial player was released on bail. Morrison has been in Tanzania since January, having been lured to the country by Luc Eymael during his time as the coach of Young Africans.
As reported, the Belgian coach has since been fired by the Tanzanian outfit after he compared the club’s supporters to monkeys.
