Former Mamelodi Sundowns Assistant Coach Leaves Third Tier Club

Former Mamelodi Sundowns assistant coach, Alex ‘Barnes’ Bapela, has left the ABC Motsepe League side he has been coaching.

Bapela has been coaching Baberwa FC, based in Midrand and campaigning in the Gauteng’s ABC Motsepe League.

The third tier club has confirmed parting ways with the former midfield maestro. The club took to social media to confirm that the management felt that the direction the team was taking under Bapela's guidance was not in line with their objectives.

As confirmed by the club, Thulani Ntshingila, the team’s assistant coach, has been tasked with coaching the team going forward.

Shame Barnes. Don't despair something will come up. Try to improve your coaching qualifications by going for the UEFA A-licence. Then job opportunities won't be scarce for you!
