Confirmed: Baroka Appoint Ex-Chiefs Man As New Coach

Baroka FC haven’t wasted any time in appointing their new head coach for the 2018/19 season, bringing in a former Kaizer Chiefs man to take them forward.
Wedson Nyirenda, who recently resigned from his position with the Zambian national team, had been linked with Bakgaga in recent weeks following the exit of Donald Makhubedu, and it has now been confirmed that he’s been brought on board.
The Siya crew spoke to the club’s chairman, Khurishi Mphahlele, who explained that the Zambian has penned a two-year deal with a one-year option as they look to climb up the Absa Premiership table next season.
Mphahlele told the crew, “Everything is sorted, he’s signed with us and he’s coming. He’s going to start on June 12th when we come back for pre-season.”
Baroka have already made a handful of signings as they gear themselves up for the 2018/19 campaign, and supporters of the club will be delighted to see that they have also now got the head coach position sewn up as well.
