A move abroad has been confirmed for a South African goalkeeper after leaving the Premier Soccer League in search of greener pastures.
Having last featured for Baroka FC this past season, Cyril Chibwe has secured a move to Zambia club Zesco United in his latest deal.
The player’s representative Jazzman Mahlakgane has confirmed to the Siya crew that the 29-year-old has penned a two-year deal with the Zambian club.
“Cyril Chibwe has signed for Zesco United in Zambia. That is a done deal and he has signed for two years,” confirmed Mahlakgane.
The Rustenburg-born player has been unattached since parting ways with Baroka in January.
He has previously been on the books of Polokwane City, Jomo Cosmos and the now defunct Platinum Stars, among other clubs in the PSL.
