A former Bafana Bafana star has been lauded by his ex-coach for the professionalism he showed throughout his successful career.
During his time with Bloemfontein Young Tigers when his career started, Kagisho ‘KG’ Dikgacoi worked under Morena Ramoreboli among other coaches, and the current Lioli FC coach is still impressed with how the ex-Golden Arrows star conducted himself.
“One of his attributes as a player (is that) he was coachable. Behind his good personality there was this required arrogance,” Ramoreboli wrote in social media.
“I still believe we are not using him enough in the province (Free State). This is the player who played his first game against Charles Motlohi (Welkom Stars) then got a red card. After serving suspension he completed the first round in the Vodacom League then played 10 games for Tigers in the First Division then (he went to) Arrows. The rest is history. In simple terms I will say this was a special talent produced and nurtured in the Free State. If I can talk of how he was profiled for deep-lying playmaker role,” the mentor added.
