Football Betting Tips

Today’s Soccer 6 post previews international action as World Cup qualifiers and friendly internationals dominate the fixtures in this FIFA week. The guest predictor this week is University of Pretoria winger Aubrey Ngoma to help give you tips!

For more info on these and other fixtures, go to the Soccer 6 website here or the Soccer 6 mobi-site here!

Fifa ranking: Brazil 18th and Italy 5th

Useful facts: Brazil have a team filled with plenty of attacking talent but they’re not the hungriest when it comes to putting in a resolute defensive shift. Brazil are no longer even a top 10 side in the world, which shows the modern game has evolved, and Brazil are perhaps playing an overly extravagant attacking game which opponents can exploit. Italy will feel they have a good chance of a win in this tie at the Stade de Geneve.

Aubrey Ngoma: If I look at the strength of the teams, Italy should win this one. Brazil need to build a stronger squad.

Fifa ranking: Bafana 60th and CAR 52nd

Useful facts: Bafana Bafana have struggled in recent times at Cape Town Stadium, which further intensifies the pressure on Gordon Igesund’s men to get a win. CAR are a dangerous prospect and are capable of an upset, the Wild Beasts beating Egypt in Cairo in June last year. This Group A World Cup qualifier could be a tight affair.

Aubrey Ngoma: I think Bafana will do us proud like they did in the Afcon. Win for Bafana!

Fifa ranking: Cameroon 79th and Togo 67th

Useful facts: Cameroon are third in Group I of African World Cup qualifying. They have a fight on their hands to qualify if the good form of Libya and Congo continues. They will expect to record all three points against bottom of the table, Togo.

Aubrey Ngoma: I think Cameroon will win at home.

Fifa ranking: Senegal 82nd and Angola 95th

Useful facts: Senegal will look to strengthen their grip on Group J when they take on a decent Angola outfit at the Stade du 28 Septembre. Angola will be looking for a strong performance from their powerful striker, Manucho, to give them a chance on the day.

Aubrey Ngoma: I saw the way Angola looked in the Afcon so I have to go for a Senegal win.

Fifa ranking: Tunisia 44th and Sierra Leone 63rd

Useful facts: Unbeaten Tunisia appear to be strong favourites to win Group B, the Eagles of Carthage have won their opening two games. Sierra Leone are hot on their heels and will realise the importance of at least getting one point out of this contest.

Aubrey Ngoma: Tunisia will be too strong at home. Win for Tunisia.
