Chippa United announced the signing of the 31-year-old, who was campaigning in the ABC Motsepe League for BMC Stars. The last time Nomandela graced a football field in the PSL was in 2016, while still on the books of Cape Town City.
Now, as reported by the Siya crew in edition 1216 of Soccer Laduma, another player who could be set for a return to the PSL is former Mamelodi Sundowns defender Siyabonga Zulu.
The crew reported that Zulu,27, who was last on the books of Black Leopards, has been given a lifeline after receiving an invite from Malaysian outfit Paneng FC at the end of the 2020/21 season.
But the crew reported that the Soweto-born defender has attracted interest from the PSL, with Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila believed to be keen on his services.
The crew has it on good authority that TTM have made contact with the player’s camp, over a move for the new season.
It remains to be seen whether Zulu, who is currently on the books of ABC Motsepe League side Gomora FC , opts to resurrect his career in Asia, or whether he will slug it out on home soil in the DStv Premiership next season.
