Former Kaizer Chiefs assistant coach, Farouk Khan has weighed in on whether or not Amakhosi should get a new coach.
Chiefs have not been experiencing great form as of late, with the Soweto giants recently missing out on a spot in the final of the 2018 Telkom Knockout competition, while positioned in seventh place on the Absa Premiership league standings.

Indications are that the Amakhosi faithful are not happy with the way the team is struggling under new head coach, Giovanni Solinas, with some even calling to replace the head coach.
Speaking to Soccer Laduma radio, Khan weighed in on whether at this point it is a good idea to replace Solinas, after just four months at the helm.
“If you change the driver, you need to make sure that the car is in very good running condition. With all due respect, Kaizer Chiefs need a huge overhaul, in as far as the team is concerned. Pirates and Sundowns have done the same exercise; you can never underestimate the importance of change. We need to change the way we look at technical teams,” Khan told Soccer Laduma.
