Ex-Amakhosi Assistant To Return To Naturena?
It has been suggested that Kaizer Chiefs are looking to set up a Recruitment Committee at the club, and could look to bring in one of their former assistants to help lead the way.
According to Siya sources, the Committee would, in all likeliness, include the likes of Bobby Motaung and Kaizer Motaung Jnr, while there is talk that Fani Madida could also be added.
Meanwhile, as reported in this week’s issue of Soccer Laduma, the man they are thought to have identified as the person who could head up things is none other than former assistant coach, Farouk Khan, a man with a fine reputation for developing young players given his work at Stars of Africa Academy.
After some questionable signings in recent years, it is thought that Chiefs want to implement the committee as they seek to not only improve their transfer policy but also help identify quality players for the future of the club – something that Khan has plenty of experience with.
The crew will continue to monitor matters at Naturena as the club looks to create the best possible environment for the new head coach, Giovanni Solinas, to help bring back the Glamour Boys’ glory days.
