Burkina Faso international goalkeeper, Mohamed Kabore, has attracted interest from Jomo Cosmos in the NFD.
Kabore played for Burkina Faso in the game against Bafana Bafana at Soccer City in August. Although Kabore conceded two goals as Gordon Igesund’s side emerged as 2-0 victors on the day, the 32-year-old did well enough to attract interest from the Ezenkosi boss, Jomo Sono.
Sono had earlier played on the same field for the South African legends against their Italian counterparts in a game played in honour of former president Nelson Mandela.
According to a Soccer-Laduma source close to Cosmos, Sono’s side is one of a few NFD clubs that have been impressed by the player’s performances.
Kabore has been quoted in his country as saying that he is keen on making a move to Cosmos. Ezenkosi are 14th on the NFD log with no wins after four games.
The side has drawn three games and lost one, with three points accumulated in the campaign so far.
