Following reported interest in the services of former Kaizer Chiefs forward Emmanuel Letlotlo, his current team has spoken out, saying all suitors would have to talk to them first.
The Siya crew recently reported that ‘Adebayor’ has emerged as one of the players who has attracted interest from Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila, as confirmed by the player’s representative, Gerald Baloyi.
However, the player’s current club La Masia FC, who campaign in the ABC Motsepe League, has said that although they will not stand in the player’s way, potential suitors need to speak to them.
"Any interested team will have to speak to us for his clearance, the player is aware of this. The agent has made it seem like the boy has been without a club for over three years, which does not bode well for him, as interested parties could be put off by this.
"This boy was in football wilderness and we took him. We told him 'sign for us, we can help to market you.' He is undoubtedly a talented boy, I mean he scored in our last game before the break," La Masia Chairman Nazier Baker told the Siya crew.
The former MultiChoice Diski Challenge top goalscorer, will be hoping to secure a top-flight deal in the near future, which will give him an opportunity to live up to the promise he showed early in his career.
