Ex Bucs Coach In Uganda

Former Orlando Pirates coach, Milutin Sredojevic, has been appointed as the Ugandan national team’s new head coach. Micho, as the Serbian mentor is affectionately known in football circles, was in control of the Rwanda national team’s bench until recently.

Sredojevic is expected to start his duties with The Cranes in June, after signing a two-year-deal with the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA). Sredojevic’s appointment puts an end to the speculation linking him with a move back to the PSL.

He replaces Robert Williamson on the bench of the Ugandan national team and will be expected to guide Uganda to victory in their 2014 World Cup qualifier against Liberia on June 8.

According to FUFA, Sredojevic will be assisted by Sam Timbe and Fred Kajoba in his duties.
