Ertugral: There's More Work To Be Done
Orlando Pirates coach Muhsin Ertugral saw room for improvement after his side's 2-1 win over Ajax Cape Town on Tuesday night.
The Buccaneers spent most of the game without the ball and were put under pressure by their hosts, but a quickfire double from Tendai Ndoro in the first half was enough to lead them to three points.
Ertugral said, "In the first half we should have had another one.
"You can't come here and play a certain type of football. We wanted to counter, and that's where the two goals came from. You can't play open football.
"It wasn't a psychological disadvantage for us when they scored. We knew that Nathan Paulse was going to be making those runs. Our positioning wasn't good enough.
Ndoro has now netted five goals in two Absa Premiership appearances for the Buccaneers this season.
When asked about Ndoro's form, he added: "He is a great player to work with. He knows the lines and when to go in.
"Some of our internationals had some very heavy legs tonight. But we will work on that."
