SuperSport United’s in-demand striker, Kermit Erasmus, could well remain at the club, despite interest from Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns.
According to a source close to Matsatsantsa, Erasmus has indicated that he is eager to try out life under new coach, Cavin Johnson, before deciding whether to move on.
The 22-year-old is hot property in South Africa at present, since it was revealed that SuperSport would be willing to listen to offers for the forward, with Chiefs and Sundowns having both already spoken to his current club.
However, there could now be another twist to the tale, with Erasmus looking to see how Johnson’s first few weeks at the club go before making his decision.
Erasmus has remained quiet on the situation from the start, however his business manager, Rob Moore, has confirmed the interest from both the Amakhosi and the Brazilians.
