Veteran defender, Elias Ngwepe, will be leaving Platinum Stars at the end of this month, bringing to an end a three-year stint with the club.
Ngwepe, who turned 36 in March, will see his current contract with Dikwena come to an end on June 30th, and the Siya crew have been informed that the club will not be offering him an extension.
The versatile former Mamelodi Sundowns man is the latest name to join the list of names that will be leaving the club, with Takesure Chinyama, and Henrico Botes also not being given contract renewals, while Benson Mhlongo has already left.
At 36, Ngwepe now has to make a decision as to whether he will call time on his football career and hang up his boots, or look for a new deal elsewhere.
Ngwepe, who made nine league appearances this season, has been with Dikwena since 2011 when he joined them from Maritzburg United on a free transfer.
