Edward Motale believes that his former club, Orlando Pirates, will return to action in good shape after the international break.
Pirates lost to Bidvest Wits in their last league fixture, but the retired defender believes that the rest from action will be good for Eric Tinkler’s side.
“I think Pirates needed this break more than any other team,” he told the Siya crew. “They have been playing for almost a year with a proper rest and this came at a time when they needed it.”
The 49-year-old added that the Buccaneers will be able to bounce back and finish the season well.
“Now that they had a break they will bounce back strong and finish the season on a good note,” Motale explained.
Pirates will take on Free State Stars at Orlando Stadium on 9 April in their next PSL fixture.
