Black Leopards’ midfielder Edgar Manaka could be joining Orlando Pirates next season, but it will all be dependent on Sunday’s crucial play-off game between Leopards and Polokwane City.
As previously revealed by Soccer Laduma, Pirates were looking to bring the player on board, and sources close to the player’s have indicated that the deal is as good as done, but it does depend on whether Leopards are promoted or not.
If Leopards are unable to beat Polokwane City on Sunday in the final play-off game, the club has agreed to let the player go, but if Leopards win promotion to the PSL, they will assess the situation then.
Either way the 25-year-old, who has made 22 appearances for Lidoda Duvha this past season, looks set for a return to the PSL next season.
The Kempton Park-born player has been linked with a number of PSL clubs recently, with Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns, Polokwane City and newly-promoted Chippa United all rumoured to be interested in his services.
