He arrived at Leopards in December having enjoyed a successful stint with Kenyan side Gor Mahia in the domestic league as well as the CAF Confederation Cup. His arrival at Leopards rejuvenated the Limpopo-based outfit, who were bottom of the Absa Premiership table when he took over from Joel Masutha.
Kerr even earned himself the Coach of the Month accolade for the period of December and January alongside side striker Mwape Musonda, who eventually finished the season as the Golden Boot winner with 16 goals.
But the wheels did come off and Leopards struggled to pick up points and left it until late before their topflight status was secured on the final day of the season on May 12. Lidoda Duvha will now have to begin the hunt for a new coach and have until early August before the new season kicks off.
