Dube Birds To Wield Axe?

Moroka Swallows are expected to have a major clear out in the not so distant future. The Dube Birds have failed to live up to expectations in the league this season, despite having clinched the MTN8 early on in the 2012/13 campaign.

Critics believe that coach Zeca Marques has a number of players in his squad that are no longer in the club’s plans. Marques and his technical team are expected to assess the squad and make some changes in due course.

Aubrey Mathibe, Oscar Machapa, Ashraf Hendricks, Joseph Makhanya, Cheick Cisse, Mpho Maleka and Macbeth Sibaya are some of the players expected to leave the side at the end of the season.

Still at Swallows, Siphiwe Mkhonza and Mokete Tsotetsi are unlikely to sign with the side. The two players, who are on trial with the team, are believed to be battling with their fitness levels.
