Soon after, a long ball was played by Mbule for Ghampani Lungu, who cracked it on the half volley but it went wide.

TTM had their first good attempt only on the stroke of half-time. Celimpilo Ngema played in Edgar Manaka who fired from close range at the near post. Ronwen Williams came off his line and saved the effort.

Mbule banged in the second for Matsatsantsa from close range, with Kudakwashe Mahachi providing an inch perfect cross.

Mbule was hungry for a brace as he fired from range soon afterwards but Mhlongo saved the effort.
