Jamie Webber, Thalente Mbatha and Iqraam Rayners were recalled to the SuperSport starting XI as Willard Katsande, Tshidiso Patjie, Vusimuzi Mncube and Talent Chawapiwa came into the Sekhukhune side.
Sekhukhune had the first chance with just five minutes gone when Talent Chawapiwa crossed the ball into the box and it came Tshidiso Patjie's way, who leant back too much on his shot and it went over the bar.
Babina Noko went down to ten men in the 14th men when Vusimuzi Mncube was shown a straight red card for a late tackle on Iqraam Rayners.
All of a sudden in the 14th minute, it was ten against ten when Thalente Mbatha was given his marching orders for a studs-up challenge on Cheslyn Jampies.
In the 20th minute, inexperienced SuperSport centre-back Kegan Johannes lost his footing and allowed Yusuf Maart a shot on goal but his effort went wide.
Four minutes later, Matsatsantsa should have been in front when he headed over from point-blank range after meeting a cross from Rayners.

Gabuza had another chance shortly before the interval. Keenan Phillips was played in down the right-hand side and got to the byline before cutting it back for the bullocking centre-forward, whose volley went agonisingly wide.
The game went through a lull for the first 20 minutes of the second half as both sides probed for an opening and with no clear-cut chances created.
In the 71st minute, Gabuza laid the ball off to Rayners on the left and he cut inside before firing wide of the left-hand post.
Sekhukhune then began piling on the pressure and had two chances in quick succession. The first saw Edwin Gyimah head narrowly wide from a corner. And then SuperSport goalkeeper and captain Ronwen Williams pulled off a tremendous reflex save to deny Willard Katsande's header from close range.
Sekhukhune were rewarded for that spell of dominance when they took the lead in the 85th minute. MacDonald Makhubedu's side broke quickly on the counter-attack and Nkanyiso Madonsela released Patjie, who rifled the ball powerfully past Williams.
