The players and technical team members who have been selected for the upcoming DStv Compact Cup have been given a date to report for duty for camp, the Siya crew understands.
The PSL announced in December that the Compact Cup will be played in January while the Africa Cup of Nations of is being played in Cameroon, giving supporters of the local game a chance to see players of different clubs playing in one team together.
The regional squads comprising of eight defenders, eight midfielders, four strikers, two goalkeepers as well as four DStv Diski Challenge players were confirmed, as well as the names of the four teams - Dinaledi FC, Warriors FC, Amabutho and Coastal United FC.
The Siya crew understands that the players and technical team members have been told to report for camp on Wednesday, January 19 to Sunday, January 23, and again from January 26 to 30.
The head coaches who were not drawn to be lead the four teams will form part of their regional teams as technical advisors and will also be required to report to camp.
The PSL will be responsible for the travelling of all members selected for the competition, while the match venues and times will be confirmed closer to the start.
