Khoza: Jordaan Attacks People In Public
Dr Irvin Khoza Says That Danny Jordaan's Tactics Have Been Working Effectively
The Premier Soccer League chairman, Irvin Khoza has outlined a few incidents, which took place between him and Danny Jordaan over the years.
Jordaan has allegedly accused Khoza of conspiring with Jennifer Ferguson to defame his character.
In a press conference yesterday, Khoza, who denied having had any contact with Ferguson, added that Jordaan has been attacking him in public for quite some time and when things are resolved, he chooses to rather apologise privately.
“In 2009, on the arrival of the FIFA official to South Africa for the FIFA Confederation Cup, they arrived at morning to hear that there was a coup planned to oust Danny Jordaan and take over SAFA by me. The article quoted first the sources and meetings that never took place to support this coup. It was once again a figment of the aggressor’s imagination, portraying himself as a victim.
"At that instant, as the chairman of the FIFA 2010 World Cup in South Africa, local organising committee, our chose to put our country and our nation first. I agreed to a closed-door meeting with the FIFA president, Joseph, 'Sepp' Blatter, SAFA president Moelfi Oliphant and head of head of CCO, Dr Danny Jordaan, where this matter was cleared. It is important to point out a tactic that Danny Jordaan uses quite effectively against his perceived enemies, he attacks people in public and apologises privately,” Khoza added.
