Orlando Pirates coach Roger de Sa and his technical team have allowed Garry Apiso to continue his trial with the side.
The DR Congo striker has been impressive during his trial with the Buccaneers, in the hope of impressing the technical team and securing a PSL deal.
The left-footed player was once on the books of DR Congo giants TP Mazembe, and is now looking to continue his professional career in South Africa.
De Sa is looking to strengthen his squad for their CAF Champions League campaign, with Apiso a possible target to bolster their firepower.
In addition, Bucs could still add Rainford Kalaba to the side. Kalaba is currently with the Zambian national team for the Africa Cup of Nations, helping his country defend the trophy they clinched last year.
According to information received by the Siya crew, the defending league champions will take their time before making a decision on Apiso.
Sources at Pirates reveal that Apiso is a player of high quality with the ability to initiate attacking moves from the back, a good dribbler and a natural ability to score.
