The Mamelodi Sundowns players that have been struggling with injuries of late are said to be making progress on their way to full fitness.
The Brazilians have been without a number of players, including Thela Ngobeni, Glenn Verbauwhede, Thamsanqa Sangweni, Mukuka Mulenga, Anthony Laffor, Tiyani Mabunda and Rodney Ramagalela.
Following the long list of injuries, the likes of Tiyani Mabunda and Rodney Ramagalela have made progress on their way back to fitness and could soon be available for selection.
Coach Pitso Mosimane will be hoping to have a full squad at his disposal, as the Brazilians look to challenge for silverware this season.
The team, under the mentorship of Mosimane, has played enterprising football this season, with some of the side’s new signings, in the likes of Bongani Zungu, Dove Wome, Khama Billiat and Cuthbert Malajila, showing willingness to succeed in the club’s colours.
