Mamelodi Sundowns players Dove Wome and Rashid Sumaila have been giving Emmanuel Baffour support by visiting him at his Kempton Park home.
The Ghanaian has found himself in limbo after he was deemed surplus to requirements at Sundowns at the end of last season.
According to a Soccer-Laduma source close to Sundowns, Wome and Sumaila have been spotted in Baffour’s company often, as the 24-year-old finds himself in the football wilderness at the moment.
“Wome was with the guy even this past weekend. He visited him at his residence in Kempton Park. The two have been friends for a very long time. When Baffour was at Liberty Professionals he used to travel to Togo and Wome was already his friend back then.
"They both played in an U23 tournament in Nigeria for their respective countries a few years ago. They have known each other for a long time. Rashid is always in Baffour’s company as well,” said the source.
