News making its way to the Siya crew is that on-loan Black Leopards goalkeeper, Dino Visser, has not signed with Polokwane City yet.
The keeper is linked to Rise and Shine, which prompted the crew to put up a call to the keeper, who revealed that there has been interest from the Polokwane-based club, but no signing yet.
As previously reported by the crew, the keeper was on loan at Lidoda Duvha from Bloemfontein Celtic, and it’s been revealed that Siwelele will not keep him.
The crew understands that the keeper is still weighing up his options, after having been linked to a number of PSL sides.
The Johannesburg-born shot-stopper, said he’s a free agent and was offered a contract by Leopards, but is still looking at other options.
“Signed by City? I’ve been getting phone calls telling me about this, but I’ve not seen the contract. I can tell you there has been interest from City I must say, but there’s nothing confirmed yet and there are two other PSL clubs. There’s nothing signed, sealed or delivered yet. I don’t know where that stuff is coming from because this is the fourth call I’m receiving about signing for City."
“I’m keeping my options open at the moment. I’ll see where the biggest interest comes from and I will go. As a goalkeeper, it’s all about game-time and I really want to play. I was on loan at Leopards from Celtic. I signed for two seasons at Celtic with an option for another season, and in my second season, the management told me they won’t give me a chance. I had to look for a team on loan and the only team looking for a keeper was Leopards in the NFD. We wanted to get promoted, but failed against City at the last hurdle. They offered me a contract as my loan agreement has expired, but I’m still in discussions with my agent. I’m now a free agent after Celtic signed Thembalethu Moses,” said Visser.
The crew will keep the keeper’s situation in check and update you.
