Platinum Stars did very well from the start of the season until just before the Christmas break and they're hoping to continue the momentum.
Dikwena To Start Training On January 9
Despite losing to Moroka Swallows in the last game of 2012, Dikwena won the Q2 and finished in third position just below Orlando Pirates.
To keep the momentum during the Afcon break, Dikwena have decided to gather earlier on January 9.
The team's media officer Aubrey Molobi told Soccer-Laduma that the team will gather on Tuesday, January 8, but start training on Wednesday January 9.
"Yes we want to have a continued good run and to do that the technical team has asked the team to gather on January 8, when we will have their medical tests and on January 9 they will go for physical training and conditioning.
"You know we are starting with Bloemfontein Celtic at home but we are also playing against Orlando Pirates and Ajax Cape Town in February so we have to be on top of our game hence the early assembling after the Christmas break," Molobi concluded.
