Dikwena On Johnson Situation

Platinum Stars media officer Aubrey Molobi has confirmed to the Siya crew that the club is still in discussions on the issue of Cavin Johnson, and his future for next season.

Johnson wants out of Dikwena after he handed his resignation, however Soccer-Laduma's web and mobi-sites reported earlier today that Stars have rejected his resignation and that they are expecting him at their pre-season training.

“The official statement from the club is that Cavin is still having a contract with Platinum Stars. It is true that there were issues that were raised about him wanting to go back home citing some family challenges. The matter is with the management as we talk. As soon as we have agreed we will definitely issue a press release regarding that,” said Molobi.

Johnson is expected to fill the vacant coaching position at SuperSport United, and the Siya crew will keep you informed on the latest developments regarding Johnson’s situation.
