Dikgacoi: Bafana Will Beat Nigeria

England based South African midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi is confident that Bafana Bafana will beat Nigeria on Sunday and progress to the next round of the 2014 Chan tournament.

Speaking to the Siya crew from England, Dikgacoi said that even though he was expecting a tough match for Bafana against the Super Eagles, he was confident that they’ll beat them.

“I have been following their progress in the Chan and they were unlucky not to beat Mali in their last game, otherwise they should have qualified by now,” Dikgacoi told the crew.

“I know that Bafana have not beaten Nigeria in a competitive game before, but this is a completely new ball game. Nigeria look ordinary in this tournament and if there was a time for Bafana to beat them, then this is it.

“My advice to them is not to think about our past results against them when they enter the field. They must focus on creating history by beating them and probably knocking them out of the competition,” added Dikgacoi.

Dikgacoi also wished Bafana well in the competition.

“You guys have what it takes to win this competition. You just need to go there and win it,” concluded Dikgacoi.

Bafana will take on Nigeria in their last Group A match at Cape Town Stadium on Sunday.
