According to Siya sources, Oupa Manyisa has put pen to paper on a long-term deal with Mamelodi Sundowns although it is yet to be confirmed by the CAF Champions League winners.

It was revealed on Soccer Laduma earlier today that the now former Orlando Pirates captain, Manyisa had been spotted at the Chloorkop-based club according to Siya sources, indicating that the player was set to undergo a medical ahead of finalizing a move to the Brazilians.

Pirates’ chairman, Irvin Khoza broke the news of Manyisa’s move to Sundowns yesterday, August 03, revealing that it was not an easy decision but it was in the best interest of the 29-year-old.

Siya sources have since revealed that Manyisa has put pen to paper on a three-year deal with Masandawana, which will see him remain at the club until, at least, the end of June 2020.

However, the deal is yet to be confirmed by Sundowns and as revealed by the club yesterday, an official announcement about Manyisa is expected to be made soon.

I have to say it this is a good business deal from the toothless one oupa at the age of 29 he is about to reach his expiry date so it's only logical for khoza to cash on him or he was going to walkout free, honestly oupa, jele and matlaba looked like they did not want to play for pirates anymore their body language said it all this is a lesson to be learned do not keep players against their will whether they have a contract or not let them go ,Chiefs should also release Lebese soccer bosses I hope you read this.

'Magents' confident Manyisa will excel : Edward Motale says he was surprised by Oupa ‘Ace’ Manyisa’s transfer move to Mamelodi Sundowns yesterday, but the former Orlando Pirates defender believes Manyisa will succeed at Chloorkop. “I don’t know what forced or encouraged him to join Sundowns, but what I know is that for him it’s the best move,” Motale tells INDIDANE. “I don’t think he will have a problem to settle in at Sundowns because most of the players at Sundowns are local. Motale says he wants to know the reason why the former captain of Pirates decided to jump the ship. “I still want know the cause of the move, but I guess we will not know that,” Motale adds. Motale also believes that Manyisa will make an impact at Sundowns this coming season as they play a style that suits Manyisa. “He will make it at Sundowns! Oupa’s style is the very same style that Sundowns is playing – keeping the ball. So, that’s Oupa’s style. He is going to fit in like a hand in the glove.” "Magents' concluded
