Moroka Swallows coach Zeca Marques has invited Sthembiso Ntombela to the club for a second trial. The 30-year-old defender impressed the technical team in his initial trial with the side before the Christmas break, and has now subsequently been invited back.
A reliable source within the Dube Birds camp confirmed that Ntombela resumed his trial with the side when the rest of the team reported for training this week.
“The guy has returned and is training with us again. He is a defender. He could get a run in some friendly games that we will be playing,” said the source.
Ntombela played for PSAP Sigli in Indonesia before returning home. He has also turned out for Fourway Rangers in Hong Kong during his career.
Another player still trying to impress Marques at Swallows is Thapelo Tshilo. Tshilo is in search of a new club after he was deemed surplus to requirements at Mamelodi Sundowns.
