SuperSport United captain, Dean Furman, has said that it will be a difficult task to meet the standards set by Mamelodi Sundowns last season.
Ahead of SuperSport’s MTN8 clash with last season’s league champions, the 28-year-old has said that it will take hard work to be able to match the Brazilians on the pitch.
"As a team we want to start the new season on a high note,” he told journalists. “We have teams like Sundowns who have set up the standards and for us to catch up with them we have to work hard.”
The former Doncaster Rovers player went on to praise the quality of his teammates and said that he believes they have what it takes to compete
“I know we have a great squad which can fight for trophies this season,” Furman concluded.
